Overview
Uniting CRM ("Uniting", "we", "our", or "us") provides a CRM and team collaboration platform for study-abroad consultants, operators, and authorized organization users.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Uniting mobile app, web app, websites, and related services.
App Store Privacy Summary
The Uniting mobile app is an organization workspace app. It does not sell personal information, does not use third-party advertising, and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites. Data collected by the app is linked to the signed-in account and used for app functionality, account management, communications, security, notifications, and support.
For Google Play Data safety purposes, data is collected when the app transmits user data off a user's device to Uniting, to service providers, or to organization workspaces. This includes the account, CRM, communication, media, call, diagnostic, and device identifier data described below.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate and secure the service:
- Account information, such as name, email address, organization, role, user ID, workspace membership, and profile image.
- Authentication and session information, such as login sessions, device identifiers, session identifiers, device push tokens, and security tokens.
- CRM content, such as leads, deals, tasks, dashboard metrics, notes, status updates, contact details, student or lead phone numbers, and related operational records.
- Team communication content, such as messages, reactions, attachments, selected images or videos, voice notes, channel metadata, and message reports.
- Calling and communication data, such as call logs, call status, call direction, call duration, caller and recipient numbers, call recordings when enabled by the organization or provider, and missed call notification details.
- App and device information, such as app version, platform, device type, notification permission state, diagnostics, local settings, and crash or reliability information needed to operate and secure the app.
- Support information, such as messages you send to support and information needed to resolve a request.
- Website and access request information, such as name, work email, organization, role, phone number, city, team size, and messages submitted through a Uniting website or email link.
The mobile app does not use third-party advertising and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide CRM, dashboard, and team chat functionality.
- Provide outgoing in-app calling, click-to-call, missed call notifications, and call log synchronization.
- Authenticate users and secure sessions.
- Sync CRM records, notifications, call logs, WhatsApp activity, and team conversations across devices.
- Provide customer support and investigate safety or abuse reports.
- Maintain service reliability, security, and fraud prevention.
- Comply with legal, contractual, and operational obligations.
Mobile Permissions
- Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a photo or video for a workspace message.
- Photo library access is used only when you choose media to attach to a workspace message. On iOS, Uniting uses Apple's picker where available so you choose the specific item to upload.
- Microphone access is used only when you choose to record a voice note, record a video with sound, or make an in-app call.
- Push notifications are used for CRM activity, messages, WhatsApp activity, call events, missed calls, app updates, and other workspace alerts selected by you or your organization.
- Local device storage is used for app settings, sessions, cached workspace data, notification state, and cached call logs so screens can open quickly and refresh in the background.
Calling Providers and Call Records
Uniting may use communication providers, including TeleCMI, to place outgoing calls and maintain CRM call logs. Call audio is transmitted through the calling provider to complete the call. Call recordings are retained only when recording is enabled by your organization or provider configuration.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- With your organization and authorized users according to their roles and permissions.
- With service providers who host, secure, or support the service.
- With communication and infrastructure providers used for calling, push notifications, messaging, file storage, diagnostics, and support.
- When required by law or to protect users, organizations, or the service.
For Google Play Data safety purposes, transfers to service providers that process data only on our behalf may be treated differently from sharing with third parties. Data made available to your organization, authorized workspace users, or providers that use data for their own purposes may be disclosed in the app's Data safety declaration where required.
We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention
We retain account, CRM, and chat information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. Organization administrators may control retention for their workspace.
Local mobile caches, including cached call logs and message previews, are used to improve app performance and may be removed by signing out, deleting the app, or clearing local app data. Server-side business records may remain subject to organization retention settings.
Account Deletion
Authorized users may initiate account deletion from the Uniting mobile app by opening Profile and selecting Request Account Deletion, at uniting.dev/delete-account, or by contacting admin@uniting.dev. Because Uniting CRM is used by organizations, some records may be retained when required for legal, security, audit, or organization administration purposes.
Privacy Choices
Users can learn how to access, correct, delete, or ask about data use and sharing at uniting.dev/privacy-choices.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
We use encryption in transit for app communications where information is sent between the mobile app, our systems, and supported service providers.
Children
Uniting CRM is a business and organization workspace. It is not directed to children and should be used only by authorized organization users.
